Wisewood is a 11-16 mixed comprehensive school in the north west of Sheffield which serves a compact and stable catchment area in this popular area of the city. The school is a positive place to be and is keen to offer high quality education and learning opportunities in a friendly and caring atmosphere.

Our recent successes include:

• Excellent examination results at GCSE level in 2007 - 64% of students gaining 5+ good GCSE grades (our highest ever results and an improvement of 32% over 5 years)
• Our best ever KS3 SATs results (Maths 79%, Science 80%, English 81% level 5 and above)
• A successful OFSTED inspection (Feb 2006) which rated the school as good overall and highlighted some very good or outstanding features, particularly in the academic progress that students make with us, the quality of relationships and our work on healthy lifestyles.
